I just used it for the second time last night and has a bad leak around the regulator that calls the pretty nasty burn to my hand because of this I'm going to try to file a repair or whatever I can to fix this issue but other than that great unit

After a few quick fixes, the forge works as it should. I had to retap the nozzle set screw threads because they did not go all the way through. For the price this is acceptable to me. After set up, everything functions as it should. It does not come with rigidizer or refractory cement so you will need to order those with this product.

It was a Christmas gift. My husband was interested. He had enjoyed having a forge. I would recommend as an option when trying to start out and do not want to invest a lot of money. It has been worth every penny. He did discover he needed items to treat and seal the forge. I did not know about them, so I did not include them in the gift. Overall, highly recommend. Do your research if gifting. There are other things needed during setup.

Haven’t used it for more than 20hrs total operation, overall good. Some of the paint on the burners burnt off, but that doesn't matter much. A great purchase when on sale for sure.

Good product for beginners

I have been using this forge for a while now for annealing and for small forging jobs. It works well, but I did watch a few YouTube videos (just search the forge name) as to how to set it up and it made all the difference in the world because when I bought it the description did not cover a few things. Using rigidizer to harden the kaowool is an important step and the rigidizer I bought separately, It would be hard to cement the wool without it. The other thing that makes this forge work for me was buying about 4 fire bricks so I could partially close up the ends to hold in more heat if I needed to. But, for the $$, it is really hard to beat it. I gave it 4 stars just because it really should have come with rigidizer even it it made it cost just a bit more — or a least come with the advice that you would need to purchase it separately. Anyway, I am impressed with the little forge and would 100% buy it again for the price I paid.

It is grate easy setup light and efficient for small projects 15in or less grate for l brackets and recovery of bent mud flaps

This was easy to set up and adjust. Heats quickly to get metal to forging temp. Only used a few times, but has worked great every time! So far so good!

The hose melted at first trial run at the connection for the burners I submitted a question for parts waiting to hear back
