I’ve had this for a month now as of 4/1/25 When I bought this originally, I didn’t see anybody using it as a full-time freezer, however I did see plenty of reviews using it as a refrigerator. I personally use it as a full-time freezer and it has done absolutely well in Arizona on a 108° Fahrenheit day. I have mindset to -2 and with the range the highest I’ve seen it go is 6°F on the hottest day but most days it stays between -2°F and 4°F with Eco mode turned off on a 12 V plug. I have not tried putting ice cream in it yet, but I don’t think it’s something that I need to be worried about. I think it’ll do just fine. I think it’s a very good product at a very reasonable price and I’ve already recommended it to a few people. It runs relatively quiet and by relatively quiet I mean, if you think about it enough, you’ll notice it kick on and off. Treated like a real freezer and be mindful of using freezer bags for food and making sure your food has a good seal on it because it is powerful enough to give food freezer burn. this one was great as a starter for me however I’ll be upgrading to a taller model for the sake of more space for food, but the size is most definitely great if you already have a fridge in a semi truck and just need more freezer space.

For the price, this cooler works okay. I have a Dometic cooler which works flawlessly every, but wanted something a little smaller for some quick trips. My biggest complaint about this cooler is the inconsistency it has. Sometimes I plug it in and in 15 minutes it's cold. Other times I plug it in and 2 hours later it's in the 50's. I'd give it higher marks if it got cold quickly every time. The other issue I have is that I can set it for 35 degrees and it will get down to 24 degrees. Again, very inconsistent. I don't want my milk to freeze so I wish it was more reliable.

I have a Ford F-150 Lightning and this fit into the Frunk perfectly. It does a good job keeping the food cold.

I would have liked freezer on the bottom. The app is nice. I even went down to 26 watts on Eco. The freezer works but it takes time and power to switch it over. Freezer on the bottom would be more efficient.

Just the right size and keeps food very cold to freezing. Best buy for sure! Easy to handle, meets all of my requirements.

Perfect for my needs. This actually cools without the need of adding ice. I refunded another brand for that reason. Great purchase, I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a true car refrigerator that does what it is supposed to do.
