This is a must for you pool cover. No big mess removing the cover when you want to swim. It is also easy to manuver.

Assembly was interesting but I pieced it together and adjusted it by getting in the pool and mounting it. With it mounted I screwed in all the required screws. It hasn't budged since even without the included loctite. Once I got the straps right on the solar cover, it reels up nice and .... Uneven.... But that doesn't matter to me. I like how the cover gathers squeezes water out and the last foot i am able to skim the debris. Highly recommend for solar cover reel. It definitely gets the job done and with only one person.

This is a great reel that was easy to assemble and is very sturdy once completed. It is not difficult to adjust it to whatever length you need for your setup and once that's done it will hold that setting quite well; it can also be adjusted to another size down the road if needed.b it works well for a 14x28 solar cover on my pool and doesn't seem to tip over even without sandbags set up. I would say it is a good deal for the price.

I just received it on June 26,2024 it was ordered on June 13, 2024 said I will be delivered July 1,2024 after several calls to see why it would take so long to deliver, I was told it was out of stock but never received that information.. I talked to Amazon customer service got different answers... finally a team leader got me results and it was delivered next day. Unfortunately we haven't gotten to use the pool reel... So after we do I can give a better review... It looks durable, don't know about performance, question the value the installation hmmm instructions not clear and small print

I’ve been using the VEVOR Pool Cover Reel for a while now, and overall, I’d say it’s a solid investment for anyone with an inground pool. First off, the aluminum frame feels sturdy yet lightweight, making it easy to maneuver. The rubber wheels roll smoothly, which is a big plus when adjusting the cover. It also comes with sandbags for extra stability—though, honestly, I didn’t feel the need to use them much. Assembly was a bit of a project. The instructions could have been clearer, and it took some time to put everything together. That said, once assembled, it works like a charm. Rolling the cover on and off is way easier than dealing with it manually, and the reel holds up well, even with a heavier solar cover. One thing to note: While it claims to fit pools from 4 to 18 feet wide, it works best on the wider end of that range. If you have a smaller pool, you might find it bulkier than necessary. For the price, this is a great option compared to more expensive brands. If you're looking for a budget-friendly pool cover reel that gets the job done, this is definitely worth considering! I purchased this item however wasn't satisfied with function overall I feel wasn't sturdy enough had issues with parts breaking out of the inside of the rollers maybe it was just too much weight on rollers but wasn't difficult to install took little time set up including putting cover on as well I'll give 3 star. first time purchase but arrived on time packaged well

It does what it advertises. The instructions for placement of the cover reel relative to the kidney-shaped pool were actually accurate (and therefore helpful). The pre-drilled holes on the pole were not accurate relative to the instrutions however it did not hinder assembly. The aluminum is soft and the thread on the screw holder is already rusting. I don't expect this years on end but for the price, and getting a cover so we could heat pump to extend our pool season, it was worth it.

This reel makes a huge difference in covering and uncovering our in ground pool. The length is adjustable but you can only set the length once as the screws get glued in, so you have to get it right before completing assembly. The glue that is supposed to make the screws lock tight really did not work. We ended up using real metal screws and drilling them in. The sand bags are very nice, but caution, the green dye runs when it gets wet
