This rope kicks butt. I use it to rappel, and it's perfect for it. Do not use it to rappel, it clearly states not to on the product page, and I cannot say it's a good idea. It's sheath is a bit less durable than my actual climbing and rappelling ropes, and contact with rusty metal did not bad, but noticeable damage to it, but for $40, I have no complaints. I plan to use dyneema fishing line as thread to fix it up if it frays more. The rope is also stiffer than my certified climbing and rappelling ropes, stiff enough to not be able to fit in my rothco rappel bag. Currently I have a 192' rope in there, so it's a bit disappointing this rope won't fit, but again, IT'S NOT MEANT AS A CLIMBING ROPE.Edit: when I meant contact with metal, I mean rusty steel. My belay did not damage it at all.

Great for the price. 200ft came in handy when your suck a ways from an anchor point!!

I bought this to tie a climbing cargo net for my kids. Still waiting to get to that project. But the rope appears to be of high quality but I haven’t checked all 600 ft. I’m not sure how well it will hold the knots I am going to tie as it feel slick and is not very bendy. But for the price I’m a happy customer.

I thought this rope had a core that could be braided with FID tools. It was not. The pics on the listing showed eyes. The eyes were not braided, they had a sleeve to make an eye. I contacted the seller for information on where to purchase these sleeves. They were not helpful at all. Disappointed with seller. The rope still will be used but knots are not what I wanted. 500’ of rope and no reel either. Update 12-21-19 the review above was for the rope only. I added another star because the seller was very anxious to help me. The problem remains that You can’t braid eyes. The factory eyes are stitched with a plastic sleeve.

Just what I ordered very happy will but again. When this one wears out in a few years time. ;D

This is one of the best ropes I've used. at 5/8 thick, and it is super durable and heavy duty. If you need something heavy and strong, go get it. It has one of the best price, too.

Nylon rope I love it I’ll use this 5/16 rope to tie down the tarp on my camper for the winter I have use this rope in the past but the first time I’ve bought it on Amazon I will be buying more in the future thank you have a great day

This is a super value for what you get. The rope appears very strong and sturdy and is a bit stiff, which might be very desirable quality for whatever your application.
