I was trying to remove a snap ring from inside a hilti te500 and managed to break every snap ring plier available in my city so I ordered these because the set is half the cost of a single plier at any automotive or hardware store in my town and I was able to remove the ring with no damage to the pair I used from this set.

Needed to remove a snap ring to remove the tire on my garden tractor to fix a flat tire. These pliers came as straight and bent and for inside or outside rings. I used the straight/outside one and it worked perfectly to remove and put back on the snap ring. Seemed sturdy and were easy to grip. Good spring. Nice carrying case with velcro that rolls up for compactness in the toolbox.

Great quality. Everything we have bought has been well worth the money. Plan on buying more stuff. My husband and son both loved the tools,straps,etc. They are heavy duty made of great quality and work really well.

None of these tools are useable for removing pedals from a bicycle, either they're too wide or don't have enough torque. Other than that they're pretty good.
