This thing is very cost effective and gets the job done very effectively. Going to have to find more reasons to put this to work! Compacts 6in of 1 1/2in crushed concrete without trouble. Makes the job much easier. Not extremely loud. About as loud as a lawn mower. Easy to transport!

Compactor is nice love the color. Engine started 1st pull after oil fill and gas of course. One of my pulleys has a ding emailed vevor I expect a new pulley coming soon I've yet to work it out except in the yard packed my grass down nicely. The price beats the heck out of the other brands no whackers for this guy.

I am trying to start this compactor for the first time and am having trouble. I have used fresh gas and oil. I read the instruction book and set the choke, throttle fuel valve, and engine switch as instructed. Still not able to start it. After I removed it from the box, the machine dripped oil residue on my deck for two weeks before I tried to start it. I filled the oil with 10W-30 before starting and put fuel in the gas tank. UPDATE: I added more oil and the machine now starts easily. Much more oil had leaked out of the machine than I previously understood. The machine operates well. Good purchase.

Does a great job and starts easily on the first pull. It is difficult to read the oil level, but not impossible. I don't regret the purchase at all!

I decided to buy a compactor for my DIY project as it gave me the convenience to work at my own pace rather than have to complete it all in the rental window! Great decision and I now have a ton more projects lined up where I can use it (so maybe not such a great decision!! LOL!)

Saved a lot of time and effort with this. Does a great job at compacting stone, gravel, dirt and asphalt

Works well. Worked for my crushed concrete driveway. Packed well. Only complaint was exhaust bolt rattled out from vibration. Check them every once in awhile to make sure they don’t loosen up. Contacted VEVOR and the set me two since I lost them in my driveway. Thank you guys great customer support

awesome highly recommend the surpass's my expectations for this price point. I mostly DIY this is perfect. not one issue I run this for hours a day.

Works as advertised. Box stores charge almost as much for a 3-day rental as I paid for the entire machine. Has a Honda clone type engine, so inevitably when I have a problem due to the poor gasoline here in Texas, I'll be able to get parts.

Got tired of renting one, did the math, same cost to buy it by the time I'm done with my project. It is way better then expected. And I'm doing more work correctly by stamping it all down now. So win win. Get one. You won't regret it
