After having the initial trouble of will not start or run due to a oil soaked air filter--Vevor reluctantly refunded me enough money to buy one locally (after a few back and forth conversations) what happens is in shipping the compactors are being turned with the engine not upright-this is allowing the residual oil to run out the carb and soak the air filter element--this does not allow the engine to get any air !! Now as to the quality of the compactor I can say after several hours of use it is just as solid and works just as good as most american made ones I've used, maybe not quite as heavy as some but adding a sack of concrete on top will easily make it the heaviest one ! One bit of advice--run it for a couple of hours and then change the oil--you will see lots of fine metal particles in the oil looking at it in the sun--this is normal for breaking in one of these motors and you want to get it out of there before it does shorten the life of the engine, also at this time check all bolts for tightness, and I use the top handle a lot so I added a flat bar brace from the handle to a engine bolt to make it way stronger, this helps stop the vibration from breaking it also

I purchased this item from this retailer because it said it would arrive in 4 days. 6 days later the tracking showed that it made it to my city and then the next day it shows that it was on its way back to the sender. I eventually got a delivery notification a couple of days later that the item had been delivered and sure enough it had made it to its destination.... Back with the retailer. They had no problem giving me a refund though so while I did get screwed on not having the item when I needed it at least I wasn't out any money I guess.

Easy assembly. Fired right up on the 4th pull. Runs like a top. Great compactor for small jobs. Easy to transport and store.

Perfect compactor for a home project. Pays for itself when you use it once. Very easy to operate and to use. Recommenced.

I bought two of these packers. Once they arrived we assembled them and checked the fluids, then tried to start them. One fired up on the few pulls but the other would not. Took off the air cleaner and it was soaked with oil. Cleaned it out and it fired up after a few more pulls. Once they were up and running we tested them out and they worked great. The throttle cable would stick every one in a while but that was an easy fix. Overall, there isn't much to complain about being they cost a considerable amount less than a name brand and still less than harbor freight. For the cost of a few days of renting, you can buy this and have it for future projects or sell it. That being said, it is a great buy.

The packaging was destroyed. Oil everywhere. Contacted vevor. Read the manual and watched a YouTube video on the set up and it works as expected. The machine is solid. It loses a star for poor shipping handling.

It’s a very useful equipment. Very well built. I was able to sand and compact my pavers with ease. Highly recommended.

It works well and runs good out of the box. Couldn't ask for much more for the money. I've said all I'm going to say, even though it says my review much be 100 characters or more.

Good points for being a beast if a machine it works very well. Has great down force for compacting. Instructions are difficult to understand. Also the instructions said the unit is shipped dry with no oil in the engine or gearbox. I found out that mine came with oil in it as it overflowed when input in the required measured amount, made a mess draining. Overall a good purchase as it was the same price as renting for two days from the local tool rental. I rwcomend this unit and company. Shipping was quick.
