The steel isn't cheap but it does a great job. If you like your pizza...and I guess it is good for bread too.....you have to get one!!!

Makes wonderful (and fast) pizzas
I've always used a pizza stone for making pizzas in the oven. Then it broke. I have nothing against the stone and it lasted 10+ years before breaking, but that led me to researching pizza stones then into pizza steels. I opted to try the steel as the replacement and it has changed pizza night for us. Yes, its heavy (that's a good thing), yes it takes 45 minutes of preheat (again, a good indicator), but the results is a 5 minute bubbly and beautiful leoparding (apparently that's a word describing bottom of pizza crust) pizza. I'm lucky enough to be able to buy raw pizza dough, rolled out and ready to be topped with our own sauce and ingredients. I've been so amazed by how nice this worked (and tasted) that I've started having pizza parties with friends making their own personal creations.

Wow this is one heavy piece of steel
Needed to get a baking steel for my new oven. This is really heavy, which is exactly what you want. It came preseasoned but take the time to season it again before you use. Great performance. Big fan

Makes delicious Pizza
I was about to get a pizza stone but hearing that they could crack I decided to try the pizza steel and found this one on Vevor. It took a few tries to find the right height to position it in my oven but now it just browns and crisps the crust while cooking the cheese and toppings at the same time. I have recommended this steel to my family and friends as it has worked great in my oven.

I've tried everything to get my homemade pizza to come out right. This FINALLY is what I've been looking for. Just make sure you let it heat up for an hour at the highest temperature that your oven will allow and you'll get perfect pizza every time.

Search no more - This is it!
It's thick, it's heavy, it's perfect. I can make, much better, pizza at a lower oven temperature, 500 F instead of 550F with cordierite stone. It will make save you time and energy $.
