It’s modern and easy to install. It had some rust like spots that were not super obvious.

I purchased these handrail pipes to install along basement stairwell. They arrived as scheduled, installed easily within 1 1/2 hours and are rock solid sturdy. In the past, I had installed "wooden handrails" at a stairwell in a previous home. Pain in the butt ! Didn't work out well, THEN, we had to paint, and/or stain the wooden handles. Too much work for basement stairwell. And a lot less expensive. These were prefect choice.!
