We purchased this pasta maker because it fit our Kitchenaid mixer and was less expensive than others that had the same function. We had seen a video on YouTube for making potstickers from scratch and wanted to make some. This machine worked extremely well when I followed the recipe for the dough carefully. When I tried winging it and made a second batch without following a recipe, I ended up with dough that was too sticky and wouldn't roll well. (Lesson Learned.) The wraps that we made were super thin. (You could easily see light through them.) They ended up a consistent thickness and worked at least as well as store bought wraps. The machine feels sturdy enough to last, and as of this point, I would purchase this machine again.
