My favorite pallet tool so far
This is a great, heavy duty pallet tool. These are great for pulling up decking too which is my primary use for it. Most decks in the past 20 years are built with screws that are just rusted, corroded, or buried in the board and they take forever to try to take out. Pull up your first board (or two) of your deck run, then bring this thing out and you're popping up deck boards quickly. This has a flexible head that helps save boards too if you're as perpetually cheap as I am. The heads keep even pressure on the board you're lifting as they rotate on the tool joint. I've put ample pressure on the handle to see it arc quite a bit but I haven't actually bent it. I could see re-enforcing the handle if you really needed to by sliding another piece of steel inside this one but you'd be adding weight to the tool and you'd really be putting some serious force on this thing to need that. I'm very happy with this and anticipate it lasting more than my life time.

Good demolition tool
This is a good version of this tool, well built. If your pallets are hardwood or have strong cross-boards, or are nailed weakly, this sort of tool will take them apart. Surely there are other situations where it would come in handy. I'm glad I have it. Most of the pallets I have around are old with rusted nails, and softwood, though. This sort of tool cannot get the boards up if the wood breaks before the nails release, even if I go back and forth and pry a little here and a little there. But then no version of this tool would work, and this is better than some because it has more surface area and width on the cross-boards so they won't break as fast. I find that many items are right for someone and not right for someone else, and I aim to help people decide if they're the ones who can benefit from the item. This item is 5*, a good version of the tool if you can make use of it, at a good price. The paint on the lower plates that contact the boards won't last long even though it's powder coated, because in normal use you are applying pressure and rubbing it against rough lumber, abrading the paint off. So follow the advice in the instructions and apply rust remover to any exposed areas. I use a mixture of phosphoric acid and water in a spray bottle.

Really nice tool
Really nice tool. The welds look good and the paint is thick and solid. The packing was professional and as a result, the tool arrived without a scratch. The handle is nice and comfortable - I would have preferred the top be covered as well to help prevent sliding over time, but it's a minor preference thing, and you will only be pulling, not pushing with this, so maybe moot anyway. The key to a good pallet buster, aside from overall strength, is the pivoting arms to help apply even upward pressure and not split the wood. These move freely, and the whole tool is robust. Couldn't ask for much more.

Pallet Buster Tool with 41-Inch Long Handle
I've had several pallet busters over the years and this is by far the best one I've had or used. Heavy duty with plenty of leverage to bust apart pallets without wrecking the wood. Well worth the reasonable price. Vevor makes some great tools and this is no exception.

If you're using this for wood decking.....
First of all, this is a heavy-duty tool. It can handle a lot without the handle flexing. We plan on replacing the dock in the Spring, but for the sake of this review, we removed a couple of the boards now. Even though it's currently 25 degrees and spitting snow. You'll still need to do some manual labor before using this tool. You have to remove the first 1-2 deck boards yourself in order to place this tool in the proper prying position for enough leverage. After that, this thing is a beast. But it's so cold the rest will have to wait for the big thaw.

Impressive work and details.
The fit and finish is much nicer than expected. The rubber grip on the handle is much sturdier than the more foam-like grips on most of our other equipment. Packaging is very professional and it came quick. Our lead warehouse guy is almost excited and looking forward to fixing pallets much easier and quicker.

Sturdy, flexible and capable of busting pallets -- and other things
Vevor's manufacturing finish sometimes leaves finesse behind, and the welding on this unique tool is no exception; the joints, while strong, are crudely finished and visibly rough. Perhaps the grinder wasn't working the day they welded mine ... That being said, this is a very useful tool if, like me, you salvage lumber from shipping pallets and other \"reclaimed\" sources. It's also great for disassembling other structures like decks, docks and boardwalks, although that's not listed in the description.

Better than breaking you back
What nice about this, how much more reusable wood I get from a pallet. Use have a of broke section too small to do anything with. I also like the way it can be broken down into 2 pieces. Fits nicely into my trunk.

Outstanding wrecking bar, beefy steel construction
I put some pics of how thick the steel is on the claw. It is a real plate steel fixture, not a bunch of stamped out laminations. The shaft threads together, but there is a tubing bridge that takes the prying stress, so the threaded stud is just holding the halves together. This is a thoughtful feature, because the shaft takes a lot of stress and you do not have any flex with the sleeve of tubing. The welds are of basic quality, but go full joint and all looked hot. This bar feel like you do not have to baby it at all. The geometry of the prying section worked perfectly when I had to tear out a bunch of old deck boards.
