shipper delayed package somehow, seller shipped fast. amazon communicated delay. showed up earlier than the \"delayed to\" date. took it to a ultra dry HT dry box pallet. timed it. 1: two \"settings\" to take apart pallets. the tines flat \"extended\" is what i used most, the leverage tines \"up\" was less useful for this pallet and created a break area. 2: learning curve to not destroy boards, first two went and either blew up and cracked in a way they wont be useable for a project. i took my time to take apart the skid after the first two boards. wound up with a decent stack to use for differing projects, 2 boards were near perfect, i do not hold damaged boards from this skid against the tool. the skid was so dry i saved all the shards even to use as fire starter. 3: total time, from holding phone, no tool in hand starting clock, learning everything and trying the differing tine positions and such, took 12:50 seconds to disassemble it. i am sure i will have it sub 8 min this week and possible sub 5 min one day. using my old big yellow pry bar was taking 20-45 min per skid, i bet this would have been a 20-25min skid. 4: the gloves are... not good... if you are a home user like me, getting HT skids for burning and small projects and the like this is a great tool, but you better have better gloves. these gloves got a ton of slivers and wood stuck in the large fibres of the glove. i would have never bought them type gloves, only used em to talk about em accuratly. leather gloves are much better, will be back at those for my normal use. in summery, this tool wont be returned, will be stored in a locked shed and not in the tool rack with the cheap shovels, it wont be returned. i cant see it bending in normal use, top of handle is open, might want to extend later. for more leverage. i am sure i will get some other tools to lift boards easier, but this is a great addition.
