Very sturdy and easy to install. The only challenge was that the drill bit that came with the railing was too large for a standard drill so I had to purchase a new bit to fit my basic Black and Decker to drill the pilot holes in the concrete footing. It's definitely a two-person job to get everything level and affixed. Even with the trip to the hardware store, it only took 90 minutes to install (not including pouring the concrete footing.) Note: The instructions that came with it were clearly translated from another language and were not easy to understand.

I bought this product as I am over 77 and was having difficulty surmounting the garden steps. It was easy to fix with a drill and the included bolts. It is very sturdy and does the job.

Perfect solution for the step from our deck to the pool patio. Just installed, but so far it's solid and sturdy. I will update this review if my opinion turns out to be incorrect. Otherwise, the only change to this review will be the pic after I stain the step I just installed.

Very sturdy, but with some problems. The four inch base is not welded perpendicular to the vertical tube. This causes the entire unit to lean at about a ten degree angle. I had already installed the unit until I found this flaw. Ready just a cosmetic thing, but this was installed inside our Lodge. Tried to figure out how this could have been welded so out of square and then I read the small print at the bottom of the parts list and there it was. “Made in China” That explains it all. Anyway, not gonna take it down and ask for a replacement as I’m sure all the other ones are like this. Just be aware, that if you’re looking for straight up and vertical, you probably won’t find it here.

Installed next to my inflatable hot tub. Perfect!

The step rail arrived quickly and was well packaged. After having it installed, it is very sturdy and looks nice on the step leading into the house. It's easy to hold on to and adds that extra sense of security one sometimes needs. Overall, a very good product.

I had anticipated receiving a heavy duty aluminum handrail with steel masonry anchors, but the Amazon listing was wrong, it's all steel, including the anchors with zero aluminum content. It's a very nicely designed single post hand rail that's well suited for a single outdoor step like our patio has. Being 100% steel, it's very sturdy without any rough edges and a nice heavy painted finish. We're pleased with the appearance and solid support it offers.

Well-made railing that was fairly easy to install in a concrete aggregate step. I opted to anchor it with Red Head concrete wedge anchors rather than the anchors supplied with the railing. I've had good luck with them in the past and know them to hold well. Railing is attractive and functional...seems sturdy.
