I have been using this unit since about mid January, 2024. It still fills just as fast, does not sound different, and auto shutoffs at the same selected pressure. For the price of 150$ you truly can't beat it. Just remember the core principles of owning a oil-less air compressor, the duty cycle is not as long, if you cant put your hand on the compressor head for 2 solid seconds or more you are using it to much, let it cool down. I would only fill a empty tank on this unit 4 times in a row before I let it cool down for at least 10 mins, you can always increase the duty cycle of the unit by using a fan to cool it. Remember to ALWAYS drain the tank after every use/day, I personally don't even recommend 6 or more hours at a full tank.
My biggest gripe about this unit (which I personally don't think is too fair to focus on due to the price) is no air filtration. DO NOT use this in a wood shop, or in a dusty environment. If I were you install a male to male air filter of the proper thread pitch between the sound resonator and the compressor head.
Oil free air compressor can last if you accept the fact that they need to cool more often and longer, the compressor motors are surprisingly really good at cooling on this one. The fins on the top are nice and thick. One extremely important thing to note is that even with air filtration you still cannot run this unit in a dirty environment. If you watch the side of the unit closely, the piston is exposed to outside air and you can see the sides of the camber its riding in.
Overall great for the price.
