This chair was very simple to put together although you may need two people to hold things in place. The fabric actually feels quite nice. It doesn’t feel cheap. It’s soft and it’s very comfortable and has a nice rocking movement. I put a sheepskin on top of it to make it extra cozy, and I would suggest an ottoman. Overall, really love this chair!

I love this chair for the price point, it rocks smoothly and though the seat is a bit hard, I simply overcame that by draping the chair with blankets, which I am apt to do with any chair anyway.

I've assembled a lot of rta (ready to assemble) furniture and this wasn't the hardest but it was very frustrating and a bit tricky and I do think most people would find it challenging. The backrest has to be perfectly aligned with the seat and also the two armrests peg sleeves all while trying to compress the cushions of each part. I almost gave up at one point but figured out that all of the fasteners need to be screwed into the thread setters of the opposing side (6 in total) 1/4 turn of thread for everything to even have a chance of alignment. The assembly instructions were barely adequate (pictures only) and vague in details. But once assembled, we like the chair. It looks like it does in the product photos. It feels pretty sturdy, but I wouldn't push the weight capacity on it. We feel comfortable in it and I like the cozy material on it.

Once this assembled, it’s a great functional piece. To get the back attached to the seat, you need a very smooth balancing act because it is very hard to get the screw through the thick padding and connect the two pieces together. It needs an ottoman because the arm rests are too low for the average adult. When bending your elbows, they do not sit on the arm rests. I’m a 5’1 woman and my husband is 5’8, neither of us could comfortably rest our elbows on the arms. The fabric is soft, and the modern look is fantastic. Just a couple things that would make me leave this in the furniture store if I were shopping an assemble version.

Easy to put together, and super super comfortable! Love that it can be used wherever in the house and such a neutral color!

This rocking chair is pretty small, but it is made to put in a nursery so it really should be expected. It is nice, once you get it assembled, which does take some time.
