This is thick enough to go under heavy sharp rock without it tearing easily but still cuts with scissors easily. We used this on a crawlspace floor, then a layer of gravel (lots and lots of gravel) then a layer of 20mil plastic. We are happy with the results.

Use for French drain because big box store fabric not adequate.

This landscape fabric has a different texture than I've used before, almost like a heavy felt. It's very thick and strong. I like how it doesn't hold water. I found it a little harder to lay out and cut the pieces I needed with it being a big folded up piece instead of on a roll but I expect it is going to hold up for a long time.

Highly recommend, very durable and high quality.

Fabric seems heavy duty with good thickness. I used it to line the bottom of my raised beds before filling with soil.

This fabric is strong and will not tear, and is easy to work with. If your goal is to keep dirt and other small debris out of the rock in a french drain type project, and yet still allow for water to flow through, this is the product for you. I am sure it has many other uses as well and should last for many years to come.
