We have a small studio condo in the Philippines and this is perfect to create the Murphy bed to make our living space so much more versatile. In the morning the bed can be straightened and pushed up out of the way to enjoy the living space like it should be enjoyed in the day time.

Impressive engineering. Whoever wrote the instructions for this kit should get a raise.

I followed there instructions and every thing turned out really nice. But working with this heavy plywood in a small garage was kind of tricky! But it's all good my wife said I should have done this years ago! Thanks for your help, it made it a little easier. Problem is my daughters want one???

Great Kit. It does take some space and wood working ability but is a great way to make space.

I usually create my own projects and I have to make all my measurements. This company has put together a step by step instruction manual. They lay out the wood you need and where each piece comes from the 8x4 sheets. Templates are provided to lay out where all the hardware is to be installed. Take your time and have fun to build a quality murphy bed. I have added the finished pictures. My grandson loves it.

We looked into purchasing a Murphy bed and were shocked at the prices and lower quality, plus, we have non-standard room dimensions and wouldn’t get a clean finished look like we wanted. While we’ve done some simpler home projects, this is by far the largest undertaking and we are so glad we did it. The instructions were very easy to follow and I highly recommend watching the video once all the way through before you begin your project, and follow the video for each step as you build it. It’s incredibly helpful to see what you’re about to do. We struggled to get the mattress frame perfectly square on the face panels, but we eventually got it. I’m sure it’s our error versus anything from the kit/instructions. Building our own Murphy bed and surround was thousands cheaper than building the entire setup or paying someone to do it (and the Murphy bed was definitely the easiest part). I recommend this to anyone wanting to get/build a Murphy bed

I was in the fence about building this Murphy bed. I'm all about saving time and choosing the convenient option... The pre-made Murphy bed kits get mixed reviews, with the build quality being suspect. That is ultimately what led me to buy this kit and build the cabinet myself. I do not regret my decision. The build was not hard exactly but there are quite a lot of steps to the process. I was able to do it in a weekend, working 8-10 hours each day. I had some help cutting and assembling but otherwise did everything myself with fairly limited construction experience but I do enjoy building things/ working with my hands. While I lost a weekend, I gained a MUCH higher quality piece and saved quite a bit of money in the process.
