Needed to mill/miter slots for door hinges on some silicon bronze doors I'm making. This tool is an amazing example of cheap Chinese tools, I'm biased because most Chinese tools like this need some tweaking to get them to work which I don't mind. Example; the "X" hand wheel on the right is too big or is just too high, if you're working on long pieces as I was you'll need to shim it at least 3/8" up off the table with some flat bar so your work doesn't hit the handle, no big deal. My table showed up with no key stocks for the handles, easy enough to make or source. As described in other 5 star reviews you'll need to tear it down and clean it as well as make sure the inner X and Y cog bolts are tight so your table doesn't jump around. All in all exactly what I expected for the price.

Need to work on adjustments. But overall a good tool

When I opened the box for the first time I noticed two small black bolts randomly laying in the box that looked sheared off.. after pulling the unit out I moved the cross slide and nothing happened so I grabbed the Clamping surface and moved it by hand without the crank to discover the two small bolts and a weld that holds the cross slide shaft onto the clamping table was snapped.. now to remove the broken bolts and fix it befor I can use it for the first time..

Good table, some adjustments and tweaking to make it just right but overall good value for the price.

Came in 3 days. All the parts were there. Packaging was intact. It’s red & green Christmasy.Yes it’s filthy & sticky. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Coming across an ocean it could have been a rusted disappointment. If it’s from china’s machine tool factories, basically you’re buying castings & parts poorly assembled for what they charge. But that’s ok because as a retired machinist, I would’ve cleaned & inspected it anyway. Got an old drill press head, modified the spindle and bearings, some 1/2” steel plate for the column & base, & this xy table. Home hobby mill!Take it all apart, clean everything, debur everything, sand/scrape everything, spray your choice of metal protection/lube, reassemble, mount it very securely, and enjoy!

Good quality for the cost, works ok out of the box, metric screw suits our part or the world making stepping over for measurements easy while drilling

Surprisingly, after first completely disassembling and cleaning it up, was able to get it fairly tightened up and smooth. Accuracy is fair, especially when keeping a bit of tension on the lockdown screws. It’s not a fast feeder, but it does what I need for small work.

Good castings, however filing work is needed, the final assembly was poor, and the handwheels need work to operate smoothly. I replaced the bottom gib screws with longer ones and added flat washers behind them. Overall good value once the added work is done.

Price was great, and quality was what I was expecting. Take apart , clean, deburr and adjust gibs to get smooth running of table with little to no play. Will work good on a drill press for positioning.

I have been looking for a medium size compound table for my hobby shop and have bought a few items from Vevor in the past. I bought the x-y table in a special e-mail promotion sale. The item is heavy but Vevor had free shipping via UPS which arrived within a week in good condition.I had to do a lot of clean-up and do fine adjustments to make it operate smoothly. All the parts are machined well and operate within reasonable tolerances. The castings have rough edges that need some work but are worth the effort to get a very useful and fairly accurate compound table of this size which sells for considerably more money either from Amazon or eBay
