I bought two of these and built a demountable vocal recording booth above my desk. It's thick and heavy and very good for this purpose. One of them had a missing metal part that protects the fabric holes, but it doesn't affect their purpose.

I don’t usually do reviews, but I was impressed with this item! I recently sold a home I had. There had been a long time issue with annoying rude noisy and nosy neighbours. The guy who is fixing up the home for the person who bought it from me, suggested soundproofing. I bought this and suggested he hang it like one of those decorative tapestries in the area where all the annoying sounds were coming in through. You literally can not hear a thing now! The person who bought the home from me couldn’t be more happy. Now they can live their life in peace without the annoyance. It is the perfect solution for anyone looking to soundproof. I only wish I knew of it ages ago, it could have saved a lot of unnecessary issues.

Great product, good quality. Only complaint I have is package straps so tight and hard to cut off I cut one of the blankets trying to get them off.

The main issue I had with this is that the distance of the mounting holes is NOT consistent so you cannot predill the holes since they are not always at the same distance from each other. This gets very annoying. The sound dampening is pretty good and overall feels strong and heavy.

As advertised. Nice. Do not have odor from chemicals.

Great for light and sound blocking. my only issues is that I really needed 98\" or longer for width instead of the 80\" it provided. This issue is on me for not doing better research. Over all it's a great product.

Buy 2 and layer them to double the soundproofing affect. Also buy self standing curtain rods from Amazon if u need them in random places where ur not able to mount a curtain rod, these come with grommets for hanging. Don't forget to purchase the curtain rings too, to hang them with.
