Worth It.
I use this to mix paints for miniatures. Typically Citadel paints. Sometimes, paints separate heavily over long periods of time. This saves a lot of time and energy otherwise spent shaking the bottle back and forth. I find it is especially effective for mixing separated metallic paints. It's also pretty small. Smaller than the pictures make it seem. It's easy to put on my desk, even if the desk is crowded.I notice other people say it doesn't work. If it doesn't work, your paint is either beyond saving or you aren't keeping it on the mixer long enough. Some people say it takes a while. For some paints it does. But shaking a bottle for 4 minutes straight is awful, and just keeping your finger on the bottom of the upside-down paint bottle for 4 minutes while you watch YouTube is nothing. And, based on my side-to-side comparison, the result is a smoother and more homogenous result when using the Vortex than by vigorous hand-shaking.I wondered when I bought this if I was buying something stupid.I'm glad I got it. And if you spend more than 2 minutes of your week shaking paints, you should too.

Lol... sit on it! I dare you!!!
This thing really shakes things up! I played with a bunch of things to see what and how it would mix, and which way to hold things for best results (really makes a difference) and im impressed by its performance. Nail polish, tattoo ink, oils, dyes, powders and more they all mixed well with this

Great little vortex mixer
I’m a hobby painter, and I use this to mix my paints. It is a good heavy based machine with a quiet hard working.motor. This is immensely better than the garbage getting pushed on eBay. Buy this, avoid those!

Worth it and more paint time
This makes painting more enjoyable. It saves time so you can paint more. Sometimes I only have small time frames to paint. So this allows me to enjoy it more. Some times in between letting paint dry, I shake the rest of my paint to make sure they stay usable which save money and frustration of not finding that one special paint because they don’t make it anymore.

Wonderful little gadget for paint stirring. Works best with acrylics but can do enamels if worked long enough.

This rocks for mixing airbrush paints
Though a bit smaller than expected this mixer does a great job mixing airbrush paint. A larger one might make it easier but even so, this is a great mixer for the price. I ended up forming some thermoplastic molds to fit different paint bottles so that they sit in the sweet spot easier which makes the mix much better and stopped the bottles from vibrating off the top. The mixer is geared for a test tube which is a different shape than paint bottles so the molds I made made them fit right in and it mixes great.

A miniature paint mixer.
It shakes the paint bottle at a high velocity. Plus by putting a bb in the bottle it ensures that it will mix well and evenly. Worth the money.

Great for paint mixing.
Mixes my paint pots and paint bottles great. I have GW and P3 paint pots. Seat them slightly at an angle for best results.

It’s works
I bought one of these to shake my paint, due to having issues with numb finger and hands. It works but not as great as ppl claim. They do the job good enough, but if I didn’t have issues with shaking paint I wouldn’t buy one imo.
