For the price of this vise, I couldn't be happier with the build quality and accuracy. As a hobbyist machinist, I don't have experience with a more expensive vise, but this one fits my needs perfectly. Smooth movement, and excellent finish.

It is very nice to be used with any my milking machine. I have a small milking machine and the height of this vise slightly limits my space to work but I am still very happy with its quality.

Bought this for my Precision Mathews PM25 Mill. Not bad. Not a Kurt, but for the price, it's well worth it. If I had to buy again, I would. I don't really use the Swivel Base, but he vise itself is good. From the vise base (the surface where the jaws sit upon) dialed in .001" difference in the X Axis.

Well, I am unable to use the vise as intended, because it is to large and heavy. However, I will keep it for another need. I only wish that there was more info given on all products from Amazon. I have very small machines in my shop, and finding a home for anything this large is a challenge. As far as the vise or supplier, I have no complants. Thats why I gave such a high rating.

Package could use some foam for the underside... it only comes with foam protection on the top and if handled roughly the bottom will scrape and not seat propperly on milling table.. (unless the swivel base is removed) it comes enclosed in plastic bag and covered in protecrive oil.Speaking about the design features, if jaws could be removed for direct use as split vise (directly onto the milling table) it would be awesome. Handle is good quality but not a speedhandle
