Customer Reviews for VEVOR Large Metal Chicken Coop, 3x5.88x1.99 m Walk-in Chicken Runs for Yard with Cover, Spire Roof Hen House with Security Lock for Outdoor and Backyard, Farm, Duck Rabbit Cage Poultry Pen
Used it as a chicken run and linked it an existing coop. It is a nice large space. I recommend folks use a hog rings and a hog ring gun to join the chicken wire sections together. It goes so much faster.
It's a good sized coop. Chickens seem to enjoy the space.
I added some laying boxes inside. Our chickens must be penned due to coyote population along with foxes, and hawks. Keeps them safe.
This product was just as advertised. It works great but I did put a wooden frame on bottom for weight. But I planned on doing that before I ordered it.
Easy to put together, but took some time, of course. Sturdy, weatherproof, and overall good product. Could use a better way to tie it down to the ground. The \"stakes\" that come with it don't hold very well when we have storms. We can get wind gusts up to 30 mph and I had to use large, sturdy, metal stakes and cement to keep it from flying away with the tarp on it. But it is what I ordered.
Nice cage for the price , easy to set up and quality is not to bad , should last awhile , ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Turkey Grow Out- okay, should have spent more money for something better
For the price, okay…. However, the bottom half door only opens into about a 45 degree angle, the green fencing that goes all over breakf easily, the zip ties are so thin that I bought 2 (100) packs of zip ties at tractor supply to reinforce it. We luckily had some left over poultry needing we put around the whole run at night, and we had some bricks to lay around the bottom. You will 100% need to purchase additional items to make this run safe. If you truly care about the animals you’re responsible to protect on your land, you need get more zip ties, hardware cloth, and another roll or two of chicken wire. At the end of the day, we would have rather spent a couple hundred dollars more and bought an outdoor dog kennel and predator proofed it instead… which is what we did when we thought about buying another one of these
And yes, we followed the directions to a T, dotted our i’s, crossed our T’s… took a break to see if we came back to it later that maybe we missed something. If you need something right now, get it. But be prepared to do a lot of work to it.
This was very easy to assemble except the chicken wire. You definitely need two people to assemble the wire. The coating on the wire you weave to keep the chicken wire together is a major pain, as the coating on the wire comes off when threading it through the chicken wire. When trying to pull tight the poles bend, as they are not heavy quality. Overall it’s not bad and it’s technically mobile which is nice. But there are no options for where you want to put the door. And there is only one door. It would be nice if it had a smaller door for the chickens to get in and out.
This was very easy to put together. The mesh is good quality.
Stretching the wire so that there were no sags was a challenge but we got it.
I would purchase another if we need it.
