My wife bought a cheap little slicer to slice her bread with, she makes our own. It is small, grossly under powered and, there are ZERO safety features to protect your fingers from the sharp spinning blade!!
So, I turned to a name I am learning quickly, that I can trust for quality and price! VEVOR.
If I was mandated to find one negative thing to say about VEVOR, I suppose it would be that they are not consistent with shipping. Some things are shockingly fast while others, I start to worry I did something wrong in ordering.
With regards to this slicer....PLENTY of power to slice through even dense sourdough bread! It is easy to assemble what little you need to. It looks so nice, that my wife who is EXTREMELY picky about what is out on her counters, proudly displays her VEVOR slicer!
From the husband perspective, one down side that I find fairly consistently with VEVOR, is the instructions as more often than not, useless! I think most folks can figure it out but, are they really losing any real great profit if they put just a wee bit more effort into instructions manuals?
For instance, this slicer. It is advertised and does come with a self sharpening system AND an extra sharpening wheel. But NO where, do you get even a remote idea, how to use it! I'm still a bit baffled.
Another nice feature might be a parts list with a source to obtain replacement parts would be great. VEVOR has great prices....but is it going to elevate the price of products that drastically to provide instructions IN ENGLISH, and a parts list and parts source? I hope not... just that wee bit of tweaking VEVOR, ad you're over the top!
