This thing is weak. You have to go so slow to get a decent cut. We have been using ham, prosciutto, calabrese, etc and it takes too long. Trust me, pay more to save time.

This slicer is a little flimsy and has a slow turning blade, but for the price, it is exactly what you get. It works well and adjusts, cleans easily. It just goes slow, so if you are not in a hurry this will be perfect. I am glad I bought it.

Easy to use. First restaurant and it helps me out tremendously..also cleans without a big hassle. None of Mr employees ever sliced meat either. But no one had an issue learning to use piece of equipment

This is a great little unit. Not the restaurant big, heavy slicers, but a nice size for home use. Quick and uniform slices. Very easy to use and easier to clean. I would recommend this to anyone not wanting industrial machine

This thing is a beast for the price. I use it weekly to slice 10-15lbs of cheese (mozzarella and aged Gouda) and it eats it up. The thickness dial does have some play in it, so I have to hold the dial in the optimal position while slicing but for the price who can complain?

The unit seems well bult, was easy to set up and ran without issue out of the box. Taking the blade on and off is really easy, and setting the thickness of the cut is also effort less. I would give a 5 based on what I know now, but I have not yet sliced a steak, ham, or roast, and I don't have a history of reliability yet. If those are as expected I would give the higher score. These review requests are always too soon for any practical history.
