Using this pump for homebrewing. Mainly transfer from mash tun to boil kettle during the sparge phase. This pump can move a lot of liquid in a short amount of time. Unless you hold your hand on the pump, you cannot even tell it is running, it is super quiet.

These pumps have given me lots of hours of service, in my home brew setup. 8 have used these pumps for a couple months so far. I used them to circulate water in my hot liquor tank and for whirlpool in my boil kettle.The housing is stainless but the impeller is plastic. Not that this has been an issue just a clarification.It lifts the water and provides plenty of pressure in my home setup. These are not self priming but require head pressure prior to turning the pump on. No matter, they work great.Would purchase again for the price point.

Easy to use and competent for light use. Requires some plumbing fittings depending on your application. Not terribly strong, but works well for homebrewing.

This is actually my 2nd purchase of this pump.i'm usung this pump to supply distilled water to my LG refrigerator ice maker for ice and cold water.The stainless pump chamber keeps contaminants out of the potable water supply.Pump is quiet and provides adequate flow to the fridge.I have also used this pump in my LG combination washer/drier to replace the original drain pump. It is quieter (less vibration) than the original. Photo shows the amount of defective washer pumps that were replaced. Hoping that because this is a beer/mash high temperature pump, the steam and super hot water washer mode won't harm this pump. (The OEM washer pump plastic impeller , keeps melting off the shaft and/or the motor seal fails allowing water into the motor.Looking to purchase another pump for cleaning off scaling inside an Instant hot water heater, as long as the price is low.AL

I've already got standby pumps, but I thought for this price, why not 1 more. I should've bought 2, that's all I have to say wait that.
