Istalled about a week ago, but forgot to switch it on! Went over the 8km to my woolshed and actually lowered the wire rope with the remote! success!!!

Seems like it will work...
It’s a little narrow. Really pay attention as to how wide your beam is. I have a Harbor Freight 1/2 ton also. It’s about an inch wider. This particular beam trolly probably would not work where I have the harbor freight beam trolly. Seems like it will work just fine. Paint a little scuffed but packed well enough.

Seems solid, adjustable width using washers
The instructions made it obvious it was made in China, but it seems capable of holding a lot of weight. I bought it for a future project and haven’t used it yet to carry weight. It was one that would fit my I-beams so I hope it works. I am paid to make a review.
