This pole saw is exactly as advertised, built well and easy to put together. The reviews were useful and accurate. Most made note of its weight and degree of difficulty when extended. I'm pretty strong but near full extended this tool is really a challenge to manoeuvre! One has to experiment trying to take the load off, that is, if it suddenly starts to fall there's no holding it! Keeping the pole as upright as possible or able to lean on a nearby branch keeps everything on tract for the cutting blade or saw. That steel blade for cutting small limbs is like slicing through butter, beware the falling limb! Hint, remove the saw which can get caught in nearby branches or foliage. The saw for larger limbs is the way to go but prepare for some effort. The pull-chord has to be managed well and free of foliage where it can get caught up. In all a useful piece of gear but make a plan of attack first to save those back muscles!
