Loved using this!
We are just getting into the honey bee thang and this extractor made it much easier when we started pulling frames of honey. Yes it is a little wobbly when you spin out the frames but we bolted the extractor to a wooden frame to give it some additional stability and that solved the problem. The legs are pretty light weight so I am sure that adds to the stability issue. We love it and it made honey extraction really easy.

Great value!
This extractor works well and it's a GREAT value for the money. Stainless steel isn't cheap, and this thing is all stainless steel. And it's a very large box, so the free Amazon shipping is great, too. The only minor dislike is that the handle is fixed to the shaft so it doesn't freewheel. If you stop cranking the handle keeps spinning. But that's a minor complaint. I could have spent a lot more money and bought one with a freewheeling handle, but I only have a few hives and I wasn't willing to spend the extra money.

I am unable to comment on easy to use as I have not yet used it. It was easy to assemble and I presume it will work as it should.

Good quality - Smooth Operation
I'm a small time bee-keeper who maintains 1-3 hives. Manually extracting is a tedious process so I was looking for something small and reasonably priced to help me efficiently with my harvest a couple of times a year. This extractor is manually operated with a hand crank and uses centrifugal force to extract the honey from your frames. It has adjustable legs with 2 options to make the extractor and handle sit higher or lower. There is a plastic release door at the bottom you can open up to let the honey flow through your filters. Overall I am really happy with both quality and operation of this extractor. I just did 20 jars and this worked without flaws. It does wobble like an uneven washing machine when you try to turn it too quickly -- However there are holes in the bottom of the legs that you can bolt into the ground for a bit of stability. I bolted mine to a 5\" thick piece of a wood slab that is quite heavy and that alone added a ton of stability. would definitely recommend to others who have taken up the hobby of bee keeping. you won't be disappointed. -Troy

For whatever reason Amazon shows that I bought the 4-frame extractor when this is the one I actually bought. So if \"verified purchase\" is not indicated, this same review appears on the 4-frame extractor. I’m updating this review after extracting 138 pints in the past year. Still five stars only because I can’t give it 10. My single biggest concern with buying an extractor was how good the machinery is. I’m happy to report that the Vevor extractor machinery is top-quality and very well made. The handle rod is held securely in place, has good bearings, the gears mesh tightly in a leak-proof gearbox, and there’s no play in the spindle that holds the frame cage. The gear ratio is excellent so the frame basket can be spun without having to put a lot of effort into it or wind the handle at a high speed. The basket is heavy duty with good welds. All these factors alone would have convinced me to buy this extractor had I known it ahead of time. I read all the negative comments before I received my extractor and wanted to check those out specifically once mine arrived, and again after it was assembled and put to use. All of them of them are minor issues and quickly fixed. Here are the complaints: Red paint flakes falling into the honey. The gearbox assembly is painted after it’s put together. A small amount of lubricant is still on the spindle attachment on the bottom of the gear box so the paint doesn’t adhere properly, thus flaking and falling off. This is fixed in sixty seconds while the extractor is being assembled by sandpapering, filing, or just scraping the paint chips off with a knife. Black grease where the spindle rests in the bottom of the extractor. Wipe this out completely, the honey itself will provide all the lubrication necessary. Leaking spout. First, when attaching the spout, the large nut inside the drum which holds it in place must be tightened down properly. Secondly, be sure that the bolt opposite the wing nut is tight. The spout has rubber o-rings o
