So I've had this Hoist for a minute and am finally able to give a long term review. First, it's by far the best value on the market, so buying it was a no-brainer. This thing is a real work horse. I've used this thing far more than I ever thought I would. One of those things that you didn't realize you needed so bad until you bought it. Sooooo much easier than using that come-a-long. It really is a snap to use. My only disappointment is that the chains rusted and rusted badly and very quick. We work hard so we worked it hard so I guess the salty sweat was to much for it which is a shame. We've started using gloves to avoid some of the rust but it still gets on the gloves and our shirts. That's the only drawback but kind of an aggravating one. Will post another review on down the line when we've had it longer.

Chain has a tendency to jam. Had to disassemble it to free it up when I first got it and it will occasionally jam in use when lowering something under tension. Otherwise it works fine and is about what you'd expect for the low price point.

Very Heavy and must keep oiled or it will rust.

Very strong and also very very heavy to move around. Does not have a quick release in order to pull the chain through.

Mi son costruito una struttura in derro dove agganciare l’ argano per poter calare oggetti pesanti e ingombranti da una mansarda con scala a chiocciola, una volta girati i gradini e’ bastato legare con cinghie gli oggetti pesanti e calarli al piano sotto. Veramente soddisfatto , le catene al momento scorrono molto bene, l’ unica fatica e’ far andare le mani su e giu’ per tirare la catena 🤣 che e’ molto scorrevole😆

Defective on arrival but I fixed it

When this chain hoist was delivered, the chain had jumped off the inner track and was bound up. I had to take the cover off to get it working again. It's not a difficult fix, but it is annoying to wait a couple weeks for delivery only to have it nonfunctional when delivered. This review would likely have been a five star review if it had been working when delivered. It offers great value for the price.
