Easy to use, as good a quality tool as all the other mag drills just substantially more affordable. I'd recommend this unit or buy it again if l had too.

For precision, speed, and safety could not expect a drill press much better than this. Having to install a balastrade channel on a balcony's steel frame this drill press was the key to a successful and proficient installation. Twenty four drill holes of 13mm diam were required and had to align with the pre drilled holes of the balastrade channel. With the precision of this drill press all holes aligned perfectly. And with the magnetic base to hold the drill in place this made the operation safe and smooth. The design to allow the drill fluid flow through the middle of the drill bit provided the required lubrication to drill very easily through steel.. To note that the magnetic based held very strongly on the steel frame which was only 10mm thick

Fantastic mag drill for the price point , drilled over 40016mm hole in 19mm mild steel and not a problem, also done a load of 10mm taps with it and not a problem

This Mag drill is worth every dollar. I have bought 5 total. After the first one I decided to get one for all my workers.

I've been doing metalwork on-and-off for 25 years, and gone through a whole pile of drill bits. Bought this drill in anticipation of having to make several 7/8" holes in 1/2" mild steel. This drill paid for itself on the first project. The annular cutters make perfect holes, and it punches through the stock without difficulty. Even working on the bench, the magnetic base is a huge help. Wish I'd found one of these 25 years ago. Could have saved me hundreds of dollars in drill bits. You will not be sorry if you buy this drill.

Fantastic price, great design and features and appears to be good materials and build quality - Variable speed increases torque as load is applied, reversing switch has a nice time delay, very little runout and good fit/finish. I was very impressed with the value... until I tried drilling the first hole. As soon as there was a load on the motor I got an electrical arc between the cutter and the steel plate I was drilling and sparks out of the motor brush housing. There is apparently an internal electrical fault that became apparently only under load, so understandable it made it through final QC testing. I'm hoping it was a one-in-a-million anomaly and have ordered another one to replace it while applying for a refund for the faulty one. I'll update my review when I get the replacement. I really WANT to love this tool!
