Good value. Would buy again.

Works good. Only 1 speed. I wish it was a little slower. It works well. Expecially for the price. Bits work good as well. Magnetic is strong too. You can push it off. But it takes a lot of pressure. I used it to drill a bunch of 5/8 holes in a truck frame rail.

The motor in my magnet drill was blown, and the customer service department was very helpful in getting me the parts I needed. I highly recommend this company for tough tools at a reasonable price

This is a very loud drill press, not sure on the DB rating but it has to be at least 95. Sorry, would not buy or recommend this item.

A really good tool

I didn't know how much I needed a Mag drill until I got this. It has plenty of power and all around a really good tool. The only complaint I have is trying to find quick connect taps other than that I love it

Nice Drill

Love the drill. Only problem I have is the lubricant bin is not built last but can be replaced. The magnetic stick is great. The overall price of the drill is great also as I couldn't afford a $1500 drill

Mag Drill

Overall, I liked the mag drill. There were a couple of things that I wish were different though. This drill spins way too fast for the larger bits that come with it, so having a variable speed adjuster would be useful. The core bits that come with the drill are OK, I did burn one up trying to drill through some stainless, but that was because it can't be slowed down. And the coolant tank could be mounted better. It's not very stable.

I bought this for a future job so haven’t really put it to the test other than pop a few holes in a .25 plate. It seems to do well and the mag held very well. A reasonably light weight unit which will be handy for horizontal drilling. The description said it has 8” travel which it does not. It has about 6”. This came with the drill Chuck which when attached only leaves about 2” between it and the surface you’re magged to. Seems kinda useless. Time will tell. Still a pretty good deal for the money.

This drill works well the annular cutters are of decent quality just require coolant as any would from a value standpoint this machine is hard to beat

Mag drill

Heavy duty packing, arrived in perfect condition. Was just as advertised, no surprises pro's: variable speed seems good, fully adjustable from top speed to zero. Torque seems good, reverse will be handy but haven't really used it yet. Quick Chuck seems to hold pretty good, time will tell how it holds up. First impression is good. Drill bit Chuck is good to 5/8 which is more than expected, bites down to less than 1/8. Adjustabillityi is easy for moving up for the drill Chuck, stays solid. Cons: magnet is marginal on thin materials. Tried it on 1/8,3mm,sheet and it wanted to walk sideways. Fairly common in many brands ,when I went to heavier plates it was fine. If you turn off the magnet without stopping the motor first, the motor will start when the mag is turned back on. This COULD be a safety hazard for a new or distracted user. There's no provision for containing the bits and pieces that come with it, you will need to get a box on your own for them. A case for the drill would be great too. I realize that it would raise the price, but in my opinion it's worth it. All in all it seems a good value and a handy tool of reasonable quality
