Exceeded my expectation!

I picked this coffee table based on the reputation/price/reviews from other buyers. It turned out to be the right choice. Upon unboxing I examined every single piece of board. Not even one dent or scratch. The materials were well-protected by foams. All connections fit like a glove. Yes, the table is very sturdy because of the weight. When the lift top is unfolded, it does feel solid. The spacious storage compartment accommodates my tea collections and tea set. I made sure to download the installation video of the same product. It looked so easy BUT in real life it's not (or could be just me). The installation of the base was fine until I was ready to install the table top. I had to find another person for help. The small top was still manageable. When it came to the big top, there was practically no room to accommodate a power drill after the small top was in. One had to hold the heavy top so the other had to manually screw the pneumatic lifters in. Hence, one star off. Once it's fully assembled, it's a beautiful coffee table! I don't need the LED lights yet it's still a good addition. The power panel allows me to plug in my laptop while in use. The design is well thought out. This is definitely a keeper!

Love my table!!!

The only reason why I gave my rating of 4 Stars is it was difficult to put together. The instructions were not easy to follow. My suggestion is to make a video showing step-by-step instructions. But once my table was together, I absolutely love it. The table is very versatile. We use it for eating, games, crafts… I love to use it at the 1/2 table setting for my crafts while I watch TV. It is the perfect height when I lift it up. The table has held up very well so far The uses are limitless. I absolutely love the storage. I purchased some baskets to go underneath on the shelving and it looks wonderful.

We dont need no stinking directions

Decent table, nice storage. Unsure why anyone would put an outlet in a coffee table, but if you are fine with an extension chord across your floor, then hey, hook it up.. The table it quite useful, easy to open and close. The folding top is likely the best feature. Set it up for one aide or open it up for a double size top. However, if you need words in your assembly directions, you are out of luck. But, if you can visualize and match the correct pieces to the picture, you can manage. I will say that the hinges for the upper table top are a slight p.i.t.a. give yourself a half hour and you can get it together. Do not use the cheap screwdriver they provide, it will break, trust me lol. If you want a table that is useful and decent looking, under $105 and sturdy. Give it a try. I did and I am generaly pleased with the product.

Perfect for lazy dinners and game night

There are some valid complaints in these other reviews, but this table met my specific needs perfectly. The lift top is perfect for when you want to eat dinner in the living room or want to have a good workspace for your computer. And you can fould it out maki g a much larger space which is PERFECT for family game night with plenty of room for any boardgame and several people around the table. Just be careful to use coasters or you can ruin this top pretty quickly with moisture. Overall super happy with it and would recommend.

Worth the effort-- challenging to assemble, but REALLY cool novelty table.

Assembly was a REAL pain-- this is complicated, which isn't the manufacturer's fault, as it is a complex and multi-function convertible fixture. It is not an easy-breezy quick-and-fast assembly right out of the box--- so give yourself the time, read the instructions clearly, and set up in a space you can have clear of traffic/use for long enough to get it done. Plan ahead, and you'll do fine! I almost regretted it about midway through the assembly, but pushed through, and the finished table is WELL worth all the hassle-- as advertised, it converts as a true \"4 in 1\" multi-form table/storage fixture, and while it doesn't do ANY of these things perfectly, it does ALL of them adequately and with versatile rotation between them. I'm in the process of re-doing a big open guest/lounge room in the home, and was having trouble picking a coffee table: too low and they're useless for anything but coffee and coasters and oversized art books, but too high, and they feel like barriers between you and your company. That's where this table excels: you just set it up to whatever the space and situation need and then change it when the need changes. It is simple to operate. Will it hold up to years of use? I don't know. The hardware seems reasonably well put together, and the boards (MDF I think) are heavy and solid. I suspect I'll get years out of it, if it doesn't see much movement. Like a lot of these MDF (manufactured wood) furnishings, they're great while stationary, but really begin to break down with frequent moving, lifting, etc. This hopefully doesn't apply to the function of its moving parts. I'm very satisfied, and it has brought a room together in a \"best of all worlds\" sort of way, and matches some of the other \"rustic wood\" modern furnishings we've picked up to set the space up!

Heavy, lots to assemble...
Reviewed on Aug 15, 2024
It's a pretty heavy flat pack box that shows up. The assembly is not quite Swedish furniture company e-z. It takes quite a bit of work but everything is labelled and the directions are decent for this sort of thing. Once assembled, it's pretty solid and the origami aspects are pretty functional and strong. You're not going to sit around it with dining room chairs but it's really great for dinner in front of the TV. The hinges and lift parts are pretty sturdy and everything fits into place like it should.
