Works better raking bottom aquatic plants than gathering top water pond algae. You will work yourself with this tool but it does work okay. The rivets are starting to work loose so that is something to deal with later. Wear rain suit you will get soaked.

Decent rake for the money although the handle is a bit too light duty. One size larger tubing and a slightly longer slip connection would resolve that issue nicely.

I use it to pull up thick pond weeds. It works well. Not super heavy duty, but good enough, and maintains low weight.

I had a project with a pond in Newcastle California and it had a bloom of hair algae and tons of random cans, glass bottles and organic leaves and twigs. THIS product saved my sanity becuase without it I would of had to completely drain the pond and catch all the fish out...
