I split some logs and kindling, worked as stated.

This chopper was one of the best things we’ve purchased since we started camping. No more hatchet misery while trying to make kindling. This helps you easily chop wood into small pieces with only a hammer or mallet. It is much safer for my teenagers to use. And it makes a task that use to take an hour down to less than ten minutes. If you chop wood for starting fires do not hesitate to get one of these.

This item is very durable and more compact than the ones available locally.

We bought this log splitter to take to our campsite. It works great, even on hard wood. I have a 3 pound hammer (essentially a mini sledge hammer) and it’s perfect. Directions recommend something heavier but this works for us. Directions also recommend screwing the splitter in place, but setting it on the ground and securing with my foot on the side does the trick. It’s built really solid and you could fit a really large piece of wood in it. So much easier, faster and safer for making kindling or even just smaller pieces to burn. I highly recommend!!

Really great for making splits. Little effort and really safe to use.

Great product to ease the wood splitting burden. It can be secured, peg down if needed. It's portable, strong, easy to use. . We take ours down to our wood pile area and also back up to our house for the wood fires.
