I use my rack to transport my SUPs, and it's pretty good, with a few limitations. Putting the rack together and attaching it to the car is relatively easy. It would have taken me about 10 minutes, but for the fact that, like some others have also mentioned, one of the bolts was missing part of the threading, which made it impossible to use. I had to reach out to customer service to request a replacement part, which ended up being sent from China. I got the replacement eventually, but from the day I requested the part, it probably took about 2 weeks to get it. Once I had the part, installation was quick and easy. Loading the SUPs took a bit of effort, partially owing to just learning how to properly load a SUP safely on a roof rack. The included instructions were a little confusing for me, so I ended up looking up videos on YouTube to properly understand the process. I recommend doing this- you don't want to make a mistake and have your board/kayak moving around while you're driving! If you're short like I am, it's a good idea to put your straps on your top bar before you start, or you'll get stuck like I did on the second board. Once I was able to get the process right, my boards held securely. The straps that are included work pretty well, but they don't seem very durable, so I highly recommend investing in a set of quality cam straps. Overall, this is a nice roof mount for kayaks, SUPs, and surfboards. It is well padded to protect yo.ur kayak/board and keep it securely in place. There's a bit of a learning curve for loading, but once you've got it down, it works nicely and seems more secure than just strapping the boards to the cross bars.
