Good Kayak Rack
I use my rack to transport my SUPs, and it's pretty good, with a few limitations. Putting the rack together and attaching it to the car is relatively easy. It would have taken me about 10 minutes, but for the fact that, like some others have also mentioned, one of the bolts was missing part of the threading, which made it impossible to use. I had to reach out to customer service to request a replacement part, which ended up being sent from China. I got the replacement eventually, but from the day I requested the part, it probably took about 2 weeks to get it. Once I had the part, installation was quick and easy. Loading the SUPs took a bit of effort, partially owing to just learning how to properly load a SUP safely on a roof rack. The included instructions were a little confusing for me, so I ended up looking up videos on YouTube to properly understand the process. I recommend doing this- you don't want to make a mistake and have your board/kayak moving around while you're driving! If you're short like I am, it's a good idea to put your straps on your top bar before you start, or you'll get stuck like I did on the second board. Once I was able to get the process right, my boards held securely. The straps that are included work pretty well, but they don't seem very durable, so I highly recommend investing in a set of quality cam straps. Overall, this is a nice roof mount for kayaks, SUPs, and surfboards. It is well padded to protect yo.ur kayak/board and keep it securely in place. There's a bit of a learning curve for loading, but once you've got it down, it works nicely and seems more secure than just strapping the boards to the cross bars.

Does its job pretty well, but...
These J racks were able to secure the kayaks. It is sturdy and easy to install. However, it is pretty tall once installed on higher elavation vehicles such as 4Runner. It will be problem for lower ceiling tunnels. I still recommend it based on its price.

Perfect mounting for kayaks
The VEVOR Kayak Roof Rack 1 Pair J-Bar is a fantastic choice for transporting two kayaks. It's incredibly easy to install on your vehicle and makes loading and securing the kayaks a breeze. The design is sleek and stylish, enhancing the overall look of your car. The J-Bar system holds the kayaks securely, ensuring they stay in place during transit. Durability and quality are evident in the build, making this rack a reliable and practical option for any kayaking enthusiast. Highly recommended for ease of use and great aesthetics!

So easy! Took about 3 minutes from opening the box to install. Easy to be for 1 or 2
This went together so fast. Nothing complicated. You can fold up one side or even just leave one side off if you just want it for one. It's very heavy, strong and sturdy. It fit our silly kayak, good kayak, and canoe. I think, depending on the length of your car (one mount will be on each cross bar. So, if you have a compact car, it will be closer than say a full-sized SUV), I think this would work for just about anything that is long. Not just paddleboards and surfboards, but I used it to get some lumber and it was epically better than just on the roof because it has non-slip grips on the rack and nothing moves. The ratchet straps it came with are kind of low rent. I have a bunch of good ratchets and opted for them instead.

Good value kayak rack.
This is a good budget kayak rack. If you don't need to transport your kayak very far, this will work for you. Installation was a little weird, but I was able to get it to work. It fits my 10 foot Vibe sit on top kayak. I wouldn't use this rack to transport your kayak long distances, as it rattled a little bit when I went above 45 miles per hour. But if you're just transporting it to and fro short distances, and not on the highway, this is a great budget kayak rack.

Sturdy and Versatile Kayak, Ski or Snowboard Rack - Highly Recommended!
I own several items from Vevor and have always been pleased with their quality, so when I saw their name on this kayak rack, I decided to give it a try and leave my honest review. Everything needed to transport two kayaks safely is included, and it's rated to hold up to 150 pounds—much more than two kayaks would typically weigh. The rack itself weighs approximately 15 lbs, and the parts are all nicely machined and fit well. If you decide to leave the rack on top of your vehicle, it can be folded down and left in place. Installation is simple and requires minimal tools, thanks to the clear instructions. I also appreciate how the clamps on the rack have cushions to protect your car rack from scratches. The design of the clamps allows them to fit any type of bar—round, flat, or square. I currently own two kayaks, a single seater and a double seater, and this rack handles both with ease. Even though this rack is marketed as a kayak rack, it is very capable of carrying a surfboard, skis, a snowboard, or even a small canoe. I feel that this rack is reasonably priced for the quality and what is included. If you're in the market for a versatile and well-made kayak rack, this one is a great choice!

Sure beats pool noodles
This is an inexpensive J-rack system for hauling one large kayak (or canoe) or two smaller kayaks. We currently have a large 3-person kayak, but as my son is getting older, we will probably transition to two smaller kayaks (as he wants to row himself now), so this rack system will grow with us. I was previously using pool noodles and straps to haul the kayak, so this is an upgrade from that (and protects my roof and the kayak a bit more with rubber slings and foam padding on the bars). The pieces feel sturdy and the assembly was easy (instructions were clear and all the tools you needed were included). Parts were all machined well. It fit on my 2019 Subaru Forester with aftermarket aero cross bars just fine. It does come with two straps as well. My biggest complaint is that that the two cradles just slide together, nothing holds them to each other, so you need to be VERY careful putting it on the roof and making sure they stay together so that one half doesn't fall or tip and scratch the roof of your car or crack your sun roof! I also found that it was easier to leave the finger bolts on one side, put it on the roof, then rotate them in to position and put on the other two finger bolts.

Great car roof rack
This car roof rack works very well so far. It was easy to set up and install. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. The rack is very sturdy. It holds the kayaks in place well so you won't have to worry about them coming loose.

Solid Construction and Great Price.
This carrier attaches to my tubular brand name rack, and is well constructed. It is just as advertised, and makes moving our two kayaks to the lake on top our SUV roof, fairy easy. Once strapped down they are secure and protected. I was very impressed that a rack in this price range had such solid in construction.
