Excellent for working on small projects .

After I ground it down smooth and got the horrible looking paint off, I think it will do fine.

Our son in law loved this anvil and shipping was free!

Good enough anvil for a knifemaker in a small shop.

Had a few knicks in it and wasn’t packaged very well. Good for the price and as a starter.

I'm getting into smithing and this item has been working perfectly for me. The shipping left a little to be desired (box arrived torn open in a few places) but the product itself arrived in perfect condition.

Packaging was a little beat up, but it’s a 66 lb anvil, to be expected. It was in perfect condition, bounce back and ring are excellent.

VERY GOOD FOR HOME USE

I finally decided to upgrade my rectangular block of steel for an anvil. A proper anvil. But with forged anvils being 3X as expensive, at least, I went with this. I'm just a knifesmith, don't do too much proper blacksmithing. This was the perfect size.First day forging on it, and it's great! The face is much harder than my previous anvil. My hammer work is quicker and more efficient. Suddenly my planishing is so much more successful and easy. And it makes it so much more simple to straighten my blades, as well.I should have done this so long ago.
