This is a great anvil. It is just too small for my purposes. Good quality.

I like the size and features. I'm gonna heat treat the top again, its a little soft.

It was smaller than I expected, but I think it will work for most of my purposes.

I recently had a need for an anvil. I had one years ago, but got rid of it. My local warehouse didn't have anything, so I turned to Amazon. I found this one and thought I'll give it a try.So far I'm pretty happy with it. It feels solid and rings well. I haven't seen the defects that others have mentioned and I've been beating the stuffings out of this since receiving it.Are there better anvils out there? I'm sure there are, but for me, this works out just fine.

It is a good buy it does have some casting defects and you need to be sure to hit your work but it is a massive improvement over a railroad track, the horns are pretty dead, but still a breeze to forge on, and with a little clean up this will do the work you need it to
