We have really put this one through the test and it has held up. I was worried when I used it the first time that our hot cocoa lost temperature too easily. However, I took the week to test it and realized that it really does need to be preheated to be able to get the best functionality out of it. We now fill ours with hot water 1 hour before we need to fill it. We put the lid on it and let it set. Then we dump out the water and put in our hot beverages and they stay hot for several hours. Probably like 6 to 7 hours maybe even 8. Great functionality. Works like a charm. We haven't had it that long so I can't say anything about durability over the long term. We have had no leakage and the seal that goes around the edge of the top is very secure. I don't think it holds a entire 5 gallons. I would say it's more like four and a third gallons. It's still worth it though. We just use the shower attachment in our tub to clean it out with soap and a brush. We have had no problems keeping it clean. We are so glad that we made this investment.

Hold heat for hours. Stainless lining makes cleaning easy. Solid locking lid for easy transport without spilling.

Overall a great product that does what it is specified to do. The insulated sides do a good job of keeping the beverages warm. My only qualm is that the top does not stay on to prevent leaks. It turned on its side and immediately started leaking. It doesn't seem to be able to close tight enough. Other then that I like it.

If you're looking for a transportable, round, insulated stainless steel dispenser for hot water, this is for you. You should prep it with hot water first, before adding your hot beverage - it will last longer. We use it for hot cider, outdoors at a 3-hour evening function in the fall and it works perfectly. The locking lid and handles make it easy to transport by one or two people. I wish the spout could be removed to avoid possible damage when stored.

Good quality and easy to clean. We're using it in our brewery as a self serve water station for our customers.

Excellent Product for the Price. Do need a better seal so keep the level 2 inch below max. Overall keep the temp for 5-6Hours. I bought 2 of these and like unique color.

We were sick of plastic tasting water while camping. I thought the exterior was metal, but it makes more sense to be plastic as it is. Works great. I ended up putting some plastic wrap under the lid for our several hour journey and this thing full of water didn't leak a drop. Highly recommended

The price was reasonable. The Quality is superb. It is made with solid insulation, clean interior and a reliable dispenser for temporary or steady filling. Easy to fill. Easy use. Great for concession usage.

This dispenser is great I only used it once for hot tea and I was so surprised that even after 16 hours the water was still very hot. It is worth the buy and highly recommend.

A great product for keeping liquids hot and it lives up to the claims about how long liquid remains hot. One drawback is that we used it for hot apple juice and we cannot now get rid of that smell and taste - can no longer use it for hot water for tea for example. We did get advice from company about leaving hot water and lemon slices in it - helped a bit but after two repeated attempts - the apple juice smell and taste is still there!! So if planning to use it for hot water only, or for another particular hot liquid only then sure it is a great product
