Seems to dig too hard when drilling that the dewalt hammer drill and the Milwaukee hammer drill both stop drilling because it is too hard on the motor. (And yes, the drill was set to the slowest speed and not on hammer setting)Tries my drill on a strike master lightflight and was able to drill over 50 holes in one outing with no issues so it’s not the drill but the auger. I hope that Vevor looks at this issue and corrects this. Maybe I just got a badly manufactured one but mine did not work for me.

Drill works great and thw price is good compared to others.it is a little heavy but I can’t compare to other brands since this is the first I bought

It appeared to have great quality and when it arrived I thought I’d be very happy however when I used it, my feeling changed. It took 30 minutes to drill two holes. I was using a Dewalt 20volt drill and it would bog down and stop as soon as I put any pressure on it. It was also very hard to start the hole without the auger jumping all over. I ended up returning it.

Ice auger drill was totally awesome. Best investment for ice fishing yet. Only complaint I have is that it was supposed to come with extra set of ice auger blades and it didn't

The auger works good, however I’m disappointed in the fact that Vevor doesn’t have an option to buy replacement blades for it.

Works very well if you have a good drill. Need a high torque model and the side stabilizing attachment really helps. I have M18 Fuel and it quickly ran several holes through hard clear ice. The 8" really helps get bigger fish pulled up through, or keeping your transducer out of the way. I prefer chipper style blades for longevity but these are still razor sharp after a few dozen holes. Have not used extention.

Works great highly recommend

Compared it side by side with a 7.5" k-drill using the same Milwaukee drill. This auger is more difficult to center and wants to wander before it begins to cut ice. It also requires much more torque than the k-drill and chatters and stops while drilling. I am returning it.

I took the ice drill auger out today and must say very pleased. I took with me 2 drills to try. One 20v Porter Cable the other a DeWalt XR 20v. Both drills powered thru 12" ice. But the DeWalt XR is definitely the way to go. I bought the 6" auger for searching fish location. This auger is as good as any at a much less price (Cuts with ease). If your thinking 8" model buy it as it will drill with ease. For the money its the best. I'd recommend the DeWalt XR 20v or Milwaukee Fuel 20v drill for driving the auger. Good luck fishing. Bought this for my standard dewalt drill (no side handle or anything). I have an ass kicking 9 AH battery for it and have drilled about 50 holes in 8” ice. It’s fast, convenient and makes me want to ice fish more.
