Many of the current winch cradle-type hitch mounts say they fit 15,000lb winches, but this winch is about one inch larger than most electric winches of the same power. Most 15,000lb winches show a front-to-back measurement of 6-3/4", but that measurement on this winch is 7-3/4", not the 4-1/5" indicated in the pictures. The base bolt pattern is the standard 4-1/2" X 10", though, so a custom hitch plate will have to be made up to fit this winch. This winch will be used on the rear of a series 1 John Deere sub-compact tractor. These tractors have a 1900psi hydraulic pump that generates about 5gpm. The tractor's pressure is sufficient to generate 20,000lbs of pull, but at a slower line speed. My particular tractor has a higher flow pump (9gpm) and even higher pressure (2500psi, so it should be able to pull 15,000lbs + at the rated 9.8ft/min speed. My only complaint is that it doesn't fit a standard hitch cradle and the pictures don't show the correct dimension to allow a person to know that before ordering a cradle for it. Vevor needs to correct their pictures and create a cradle hitch mount for this winch.
