I am a DIYer who does all her own plumbing projects and repairs. I bought this tube expander to use on 7/8" copper tubing. My tubing was originally 3/4" but expanded from freezing water so standard couplings would not fit. The expander is very easy to use thanks to the hydraulic pump. The heads are easy to attach and remove. However, the instructions are minimal and do not include essential information. Such as, it is important to anneal the tubing before expanding or the tubing may split. There are youtube videos that show how to do this; use the search terms "copper tubing expanders" and "copper annealing".
