I was a little skeptical about this product given the really good price but it was really easy to install, is great quality, and works fantastic.

We used to use a shelf style that we slide the cover into and flipped back. Our tub design has rounded corners so I was a little hesitant with this style. Mounted with no problems. After a few weeks of use this lifter worked out great. We now only unlatch the cover on the side I flip up. Looking forward to cooler weather.

The Hot Tub Cover Lift is just right works well with replacing my original lift, and I would recommend this item! The reason not getting 5 star is you need to do some drilling to make pilot holes (comes with drill bit) for the included screws which was NOT included in the instructions or description for the lift.

Replaced a years old broken model, the plastic may have gotten brittle in high heat/sun conditions or it may have just cracked from the stress of me opening it but easy to install and does what I needed.

I chose this hot tub cover lifter because it looked similar to the previous one we had that buckled when our old cover started to take on water and get very heavy. It turns out it was EXACTLY the same one! They had altered the positioning on only 2 holes on each side, meaning I did not have to drill all new holes! Installation was very simple…I just should not have tried to do it in the afternoon a hot day (black metal gets HOT!!). You do need a driver drill to screw in the self-drilling metal screws, FYI.

Good product, unfortunately I pay full price and a week after came down to 50%, my recommendation is to buy it, but wait for the promo price.

It's mostly able to operate and function as intended. However, my model where you have to screw the lever bases into the top of the hot tub, is not as easy to install as the video would have you believe. The arms are adjustable and slide to the length you need, but there are no pre-drilled holes to screw in the \"towel holder\". We don't currently have a way to drill into the metal arm, so need to get a special drill bit. And it's awkwardly placed so you'll be screwing \"up\" from the bottom. Just a weird set up. So as it is now, the arm slides down and pinches your hand when you try opening the cover and lifting it off. It works, but it's awkward and not ideal.

Took 20 minutes to put together. Easy peasy. I over analyzed it at first but actually silly easy. I have been on a real vevor kick lately and have been pleased with everything.

The cross bar was about 6 inches too long and I had to cut off about 3 inches off both arms. Now it fits and works great.
