Well made and designed small appliance. Easy to operate and clean. I prefer the stainless vs similar other material-made models. Assembly required to install the handle on glass carafe, but was simple to do. The small replaceable carbon packets included, needs to be labelled \"replaceable carbon\" as I initially thought they were those disposable shipping packets, that are usually inside containers. Fast heat component allows for the process to begin very quickly. Definitely would not hesitate to buy it again.

Good for making distilled water, easy to use

Distiller works great and is very easy to set up and use. It seems to be very well made and the built in timer function makes it so simple to run. It takes all the guess work out of using it.

Really great appliance. I've had this for 2 years and i think it's already paid for itself. Operation is simple--you don't even really need the manual. It does take a bit of counter space though so storing it away can be an issue. Otherwise it's well worth the investment if you use distilled water frequently.

We got this five months ago. Took a bit to assemble but once done, we filled it with soapy water, turned it on, and it did exactly what it claimed to do. It produced over1 gal of distilled water in about 3.5 hours. We dumped that out, rinsed the distiller and glass pot, refilled it and turned it back on. Again, we produced about 4 L of pure distilled water in 3.5 hrs. We have mixed that distilled water with the filtered water we previously generated in a pitcher, to produce a 50:50 mix of filtered tap water and distilled water. So far, the result tastes great and is much healthier. The unit turns off when empty, turns on with a simple push of a button, is easy to dissemble for cleaning/rinsing, is easy to fill, and generates the distilled water we want. It has been working perfectly for about five months now. So far, so good! No leaks or malfunctions. If it breaks or malfunctions in the future, I will edit this post to say so. Some people have complained it leaks. It does not. Rather, to pour the water, you have to position the distiller directly over the big opening above the pitcher or glass you pour it into. It may drip a bit as you pour, but so what. The pitcher or glass should catch all the water.

I got exactly what I was looking for. After doing some research and comparing options, I decided on VEVOR, and it was the right choice.

Slow but works perfectly. It shuts itself off so you can let it run at night. 3.5 hrs and it makes a gallon. Outside gets warm but won’t burn you. Water does not come out boiling hot but just sorta warm. I use a funnel and refill an emptied ridged gallon water bottle from the store. I love the LED read out screen so I know how much time is remaining. It sounds a beeping alarm when finished.

Arrived VERY quickly! So far so good. It works very well and also came with filters and cleaner. My last one lasted about 4 years... I hope this one does too! Great price as well

The unit is digital temperature & hourly timer which will also deliver WATER BATH at 110F to make yogurt in a mason jar ! this built in timer when set at 5 or more hours will shut down the water bath to cool off the yogurt / amazing !
