It took all the hassle out if installing an underground fence.

still a good buy but be prepared to do a little rework! i was supposed to come with a bolt for the top hole and a soft shear pin for the lower connection..it had a different size hole in outer housing than in the arm for the top position... and there was no bolt so I drilled out the outer housing so all holes in both pieces were the same size (3/8). It did come with a special pin with head on one end and cotter pin on the other which I assume was the shear pin ( it was file soft) and it fit the hole in the housing and the arm so used that on the bottom position. But with sale price this was still 1/2 of any other cost I could find so was worth it for me.

I have major water ponding issues with my lawn I learned of “tiling” it’s supposed to drain the water out of your fields. A lot cheaper then installing drainage pipe with stone. I bought the VEVOR Hitch Mounted Ripper, 18" Shank & loved it! I put it on my Massey Furgasen tractor on my 3 point hitch & away I went! It did not bend or break! I went slowly because I did not want to really dig up my lawn, but I worked great, I couldn’t believe how effective it was. I went down almost the whole depth. You have to go slow, I hit a rock & it didn’t even bend! I had no issues! Was easy to hook up too! Nice job! ~Lisa Q

Does what it is supposed to do. I use it on the back of a sub compact tractor with the 3 point hitch and receiver hitch.

Worked good, hitch part could be thicker metal.

It is a decent ripper, did what I needed, had to use steel shims to make it work for my receiver. Ripped down about 6 inches to get the trough cleaned out.
