This device does the job as it should. Better instructions than supplied are to be found on the web, videos are posted on YouTube for easier usage.

Took a minute to learn how to switch the jack from locked position to released (ready to lower back down.) Also, we saw a YouTube video where the user built a tripod to help counter the tendency of the jack to lean as you use it. Instead of building the tripod, my partner muscled the jack to stay in place. I could not have done this by myself. I will build the tripod to save his muscles in the future. After the first six posts, the jack started switching to the released position mid-jack and it would slip on us. We learned that if we connected the chain on the opposite side of the release mechanism, it would not slip. This takes a minute to master and there's very little info on the manufacturer's website. Not many YouTube posts for this model. Hang in there! We had previously spent 3 weekends digging out posts. With the jack, we pulled18 posts in two hours.

The locking handle is a plus. Lifted a 14x24 shed 8\" to level it. Worth it.

This farm Jack works great for pulling fence posts and pulling concrete footings from rotten wood. I had several fence posts that had rotten wood causing them to lean. Wrapping a chain around the base of the concrete allowed for pulling up the concrete plug and the rotted fence post. Was useful when the fence post broke off from the piece of concrete. If the post was still intact I would wrap a chain around the post secured with a bolt into the wood then lift with the Vevor farm jack. It worked perfectly! Saved a lot of time using this farm jack instead of digging up all those concrete footings in hard soil.

Had several post from the base of my raised deer blind settle in the dirt and needed to be raised. This jack and a chain lifted the post up & deer blind which allowed me to relevel. Lifted without much effort, well worth the cost.
