I use this meat grinder all the time. It has 2 types of meat grinding plates but I use the largest one the most. I will say that if you have arthritis in your hands, don’t buy this. I noticed that when the meat is frozen a little that it is easier to grind. I always wash my meat and freeze it, cut it up in blocks with my electric knife, then I grind it. I once tried to grind the meat that was thawed out and washed but it was difficult and the blood was shooting out of the grinder. It was a mess! Otherwise, I like the meat grinder and it does the job. I always clean it after use and put all the dry parts back together so I won’t forget how to assemble it.
