Nice finish cheap but not too cheaply made.

This is really awesome! Absolutely love it! I had a similar one but it didn't pull even close to the weight this one does! I am now using this for everything, and it's very easy to use and operate! I am super impressed with the quality and ease of use!

Just what I needed

This winch is very sturdy and perfect to enable around the farm jobs. May need to get creative with installation as it wasn't straightforward for the trailer we wanted to use it on. Substantial.

Bought to replace a winch I had purchased at Harbor Freight that had fallen apart on me. Its sturdy, with heavy parts that feel like it'll last.

I got this winch to go on my trailer, but the trailer is a tilt trailer so I'm in the process of figuring out how best to mount it. The winch is very well made though, with a sturdy strap. I'm going to use it to pull dead equipment onto the trailer, like my old riding mower, or even logs. It's just a little tricky to figure out the exact mounting position, but I'm happy with the winch.

I recently came across a 20 foot aluminum trailer for a good price. It didn't come with any winch on it though, so that's where this came in. While it wasn't really needed for what I would be generally using the trailer for, it's better to have one and not need it than need it and not have it. The strap on it is plenty long to cover the entire distance of the trailer and then some. It's easy to switch back and forth from free spinning to geared cranking. Couple of U-bolts and several nuts and the thing is solid. It'll get the job done for just about any boat, utility vehicle, skidoo or whatever else you're looking to load onto a trailer.

This is a very high quality winch that lives up to the hype! It is well designed and constructed. There is a simple lever that releases the crank, allowing the strap to slide freely to let out the line. The lever is easy to operate, large enough to work with gloves on, and doesn't bind. Drawing in is as simple as sliding the handle onto the post, and cranking. There are two gears, one that draws in much faster, and the other that provides a tremendous amount of torque, allowing very heavy objects to be pulled in easily. Switching gears is done by sliding the handle off one post and sliding it on the other post. This is fantastic in winter for pulling a vehicle out of the ditch, or great for pulling in a boat. It's really handy and versatile, and easy to transport. Great product!
