This hand winch is nice quality, the metal is nice and thick and the parts are machined well. It can certainly move a lot of weight securely, I trust it to do its job, which it easily does. Been using it for months and haven't had any issues with it. Great value for the price.

Assembly and installation were straightforward, and the device made light work of winching an extremely heavy water heater up the stairs.

Works flawlessly. Works best with a straight pull, if the tow eye is on the left or right then the cable can get tangled

The winch appears to handle the loads OK but the effort needed to pull a reasonable load is quite high as the handle could be a bit longer to make it easier to use. Under load we have managed to over center the locking mechanism by accidentally turning the handle the wrong way, requiring disassembly of the locking mechanism but thats not hard to do. OK for the price, but the 544.3 Kg pulling capability is a bit ambitious.
