Seems this is well built. My only complaint would be the lips needs a coating because the edges are sharp.

Rather easy to set up, I just wish they put a little more time into making the edges a little more blunt they are rather sharp so be careful opening upon purchase! Razor sharp edges everywhere and the mesh is also sharp! Apart from that great product!

One of these units is fine if you just want to prospect and have some fun. But if you want to make real profit you are going to have to upsize. In the photo are 3 units which make a flare sluice 18\" wide and 8 feet long. Anyone who makes new for profit knows a flare sluice is the most efficient design for catching all gold, even the ultra fine stuff. My unit still needs more miners moss, but what you see is what came in the boxes and nothing more. You'll pay a thousand bucks for the \"Hog\" version available online. This one cost me less than $220.00. Since miners moss cannot be beat for efficiency, I'm already ahead of the game. This unit will soon become a highbanker able to also adapt to a dredge pump.

Very happy with this sluice box, thinking it could be a waste of money after I bought it, but I was wrong its great bit of kit. Well worth the money, better than a lot of expensive boxes you see out there.

I like the compact, portability of the sluice. However, I noticed it leaks pretty bad at the seams. Gold follows water flow. If the flow is out the bottom at the seams, how much gold is being lost.

It folds up nicely to throw into a 5 gallon bucket or backpack. You're not going to become a millionaire using it, but for playing in the creek with the kiddos it's perfect!
